Sharon Academy is committed to enriching each child through a variety of programs. Included in your tuition are:

Foreign Language

Foreign Language is a program designed to introduce children to the Spanish language and culture through a play-based curriculum. When approached this way, the language becomes a lively and captivating experience for everybody involved. While in class, children participate in a variety of activities that includes arts, crafts, story-telling, puppetry, music, dance, and games.

MyGym

In My Gyms throughout the world, children have loads of fun as they develop physically, cognitively, and emotionally. Our program focus on growth in all three categories because we view each step of development in these areas as an essential “building block” toward becoming a happy, healthy, well-adjusted human being. The Building Blocks program is designed to acknowledge My Gym Kids for their efforts and achievements. It is an interactive skill and development tracking and recognition system that provides specific opportunities for children to enjoy and celebrate the attainment of key milestones.

Music Time

According to the National Association for Music Education, music is a natural and important part of young children’s growth and development. Early interaction  with music positively affects the quality of all children’s lives. Successful experiences in music help all children bond emotionally and intellectually with others through creative expression in song, rhythmic movement, and listening experiences. Music in early childhood creates a foundation upon which future music learning is built.

S.T.E.M

STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.

Summer Experiences & Themes

Sharon Academy offers a unique experience for our children and families. During our “summer months” of June and July, teachers lead special Summer Experiences through the whole-school themes. Our Summer Experiences provide children the opportunity to participate in a unique “summer camp” opportunity with their classmates and peers.
