Our children begin to learn through the Handwriting Without Tears program in our Threes Classroom, Discoverers. The ultimate goal of the curriculum is to allow children to master fluent and legible handwriting with ease and fun. Although the lessons are short, only 15 minutes per day, the impact is great! Our children are engaged in the dynamic curriculum and compelling lessons; our teachers are well-equipped for the important task of instruction with the proven-effective teaching strategies. At Sharon Academy, we know that children learn best by “doing” and exploring. The Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum is no exception to our philosophy. Children learn to master proper handwriting through the multisensory tools and strategies implored by the curriculum.
